Artist Statement
The sharing of knowledge and storytelling is imperative to communities and cultures around the world. I feel this communication is healthy for the growth and strengthening of a community. This belief has become important to my own art practice. My current job allows me to share my talent and knowledge of the arts to my Blackstone Valley Community. It also allows me the time for volunteer projects centering around educating communities in the arts and sharing my knowledge on ways we can support our native environment while simultaneously adding some interesting installations and functional sculptures to the landscape.
