Fairy Ring
My current installation project is dedicated to the people in my life that have helped me become the best person I can be. I am creating "fungi auras" for each person/ group of people who have pushed me forward and support me in all my endeavors.
When The Piper Calls
Inspired by the story of the Pied Piper of Hamlin this installation included over 300 ceramic rats, some created by my peers at events. As the project evolved, it became more about connecting with my community. The rats are made of various clays, and allowed me to explore glazes and firing temperatures.
"Stacking Sticks"
This performance piece and temporary installation was made at Haystack in 2019. Collecting branches from the the woods, I made a pyre. After it was done I returned each stick back to the woods.
